Abstract
FORV Sagar Sampada was acquired by the Department of Ocean Development, Government of India during the end of the VI Five-Year Plan period for conducting fishery and oceanographic research in the Exclusive Economic Zone of India and beyond. The vessel was built in Denmark and arrived India (Bombay) on 27th December 1934 and reached her home port Cochin on 3Oth December 1984
