Abstract
The zooplankton collected from 1,113 stations occupied in the EEZ of India and contiguous seas during the cruises 1-44 of FOKV Sagar Sampada during 1985-'88 has been analyscd for spatial distribution, monthly and seasonal abundance and diurnal variations. The data obtained have been used for estimating the biomass and secondary production on a half degree square basis and fish production for every one degree square in the EEZ.
