Abstract
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research having recognised the importance of the study of marine fish eggs and larvae, has sanctioned a Summer institute to be held at the central Marine Fisheries Research Institute's Regional centre at Mandapam Camp, from 14th June to 3rd July, 1989. There were seventeen candidates who have undergone the summer institute as its participants, sponsored by the Heads of various research, educational and developmental organisations dealing with fish and fisheries in the country.
