Abstract
Cephalopod landing by trawlers in Mumbai consist of L.duvauceli, S.aculeata, S. inermis, S. pharaonis and Octopus spp. They are landed almost throughout the year at New Ferry Wharf and Sasoon Dock, Mumbai. A comparative study was made on the landings of S. aculeata and S. prashadi at New Ferry Wharf during September to December, 2001-2004.
