Abstract
Small trees of pond apple (Annonafglabra) a tropical fruit tree from the family Annonaceae were spotted growing in salty swamps along with reeds Acrostichum aureum (fern) Acanthusfilicifolius and Excoecariafagallocha in marshy areas around Kumarakam Lake Kerala.
