Abstract
Large, dead olive ridley turtles each weighing about 35.50 kg with carapace length of 60-72 cm were found washed ashore along Palasa, North Srikakulam on 2.2.2002 and 3.2.2002. The approximate\ number dead turtles found at different centres are as follows.
