Abstract
The relative abundance in the regional, seasonal and depthwise distributions of prawns between latitudes 16' N, south of Bombay, and 24° N, of Kutch, based on the landings of two sets of bull-trawlers, 'Arnalla- Paj' and ' Satpati-Pilotan' of the New India Fisheries Company, and of the otter trawlers M.F.V. Jheenga, M.F.V. 'Brunilli', M.L. *Meera' and M.L. *Sagarkanti' of the Government of India Deep Sea Fishing Station, Bombay, has been studied.
