Abstract

Steady progress was maintained during the year 1958-59 in the implementation of the programmes of work both under the Normal and Second Five-Year Plan Schemes at the Headquarters Station and the various subordinate establishments. The construction of the permanent substation building at Calicut at a cost of over Rs. 2 lakhs was completed and it was formally inaugurated by the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Shri M. V. Krishnappa, on the 1st October 1958.
