Abstract

It is indeed a great privilege and honour for the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi to host a mega event like the XVI Agriculture Science Congress (ASC) from 10 to 13 October 2023 in Kochi. This event is set to bring together a distinguished gathering of eminent scientists, academicians, scholars, farmers, entrepreneurs, students and various stakeholders converging to deliberate on critical aspects of agricultural productivity, product innovations, food system transformation, climate change adaptation and mitigation. The ASC, complemented by concurrent workshops and an Agricultural Expo, is set to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas that are pivotal in shaping the future of agriculture.
