Abstract
Unusual landing of cephalopods was observed along the Vizhinjam coast during the period between 25.7.2022 to 28.7.2022. On 25.7.2022, about 170-180 boats operated along the Vizhinjam coast 25-35 km from the shore at a depth range of 30- 40 fathoms, landed an estimated 15 tonnes of cephalopods.
