Abstract

The Indian Council of Agricultural Education (ICAR) announced plans to prioritize skill development in its education program, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Dr. Seema Jaggi, Additional Director General (HRD) of ICAR, stated that the curriculum would be redesigned to provide students with a broader range of career opportunities in the agricultural sector. She addressed the audience during the opening ceremony of the 21-day Winter School, an educational program for researchers and academicians held at the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).
