Abstract
The Union authorities is trying to develop a sustainable financial system by seaweed cultivation, Fisheries Secretary Jatindra Nath Swain has stated. As local weather change was posing a significant risk to human life, cultivating seaweed would assist enhance the financial system and cut back the impression of local weather disaster, he added. He was talking at an interactive assembly with scientists of the Central Marine Fisheries Analysis Institute (CMFRI) held at its headquarters in Kochi. As an extra livelihood choice, seaweed farming would play a significant function within the socio-economic upliftment of conventional fishermen throughout such troublesome instances, he stated.
