Abstract
This moderate-sized flatfish is widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific. It is taken in moderate amounts in the bycatch of mixed-species demersal trawl fisheries, but no information is available regarding population size and trends. However, commercial exploitation is not thought to be a major threat at this time. Therefore, it is listed as Least Concern.
