Abstract
As shark meat curry and fin soup become part of nostalgia, the conversation around the fish moves to meat trade and conservation. Shoba Joe Kizhakudan recalls raising her legs off the floor and clutching them tightly as she watched the predator rush towards her from the silver screen.
