Abstract
Genus Nemapteryx is globally represented by six species of which three are distributied in Indo- Pacific waters viz. Nemapteryx nenga (Hamilton, 1822), Nemapteryx caelata (Valenciennes, 1840) and Nemapteryx macronotacantha (Bleeker, 1846).
