Abstract
The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has bagged four national awards instituted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for 2017. Eldho Varghese, scientist; Kajal Chakraborty, senior scientist, and Anusree V. Nair, technical assistant, won the Lal Bahadur Shastri outstanding young scientist award, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai award for outstanding research in agricultural sciences and Jawaharlal Nehru award for outstanding doctoral thesis in agricultural and allied sciences, respectively.
