Abstract
E.G. Silas, 90, a former Vice Chancellor of Kerala Agriculture University and Director of Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi, passed away here on Friday. He was the founder director of Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai. He is survived by wife Sharada and three children. Funeral will be held later.
