Abstract
An important nutraceutical, CadalminTM Antidiabetic extract (ADe) developed from seaweeds by the institute, was officially released on the ICAR Foundation Day celebrations held recently. Studies indicated this product as an effective inhibitor for type II diabetes affliction and a potential source of relief to many suffering from this disease. During this period, we also successfully hosted the 4th Annual Review Meeting of the NICRA (National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture) project in which a large number of scientists and researchers working on Climate Change related aspects in agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries sectors in India participated.
